Problem with PML+SCBC in the scattering in a dielectric slab

I have the following problem: i want to study the total field pattern that occurs when an incident wave is impinging in an array of pattern drilled in a dielectric slab of index of refraction n for what i need a 3d calculation. However i found strange results in some situations.

To check the model, i took out the hole and calculated the scattering with a single dielectric slab. This model should have perfect transmision at w= lamda/(2 n), however, when i calculated i found an interference pattern in the total field as if the PML were not absorbing (though i do not have it clear if this is the problem.

I used a calculation for the scattered field as you see in the mph where I use SCBC in the x-y direction and PML in the top/bottom dimensions. Some of the limiting cases as n=1 and n=infinity works well...but somehow i don't know if I can trust my calculation any more. Using the same configuration in 2d everything works as expected.
