Volume Integration Erroneous Results

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am trying to model a solid tube (made of a hydrogel) with drug release microspheres embedded inside it. There are total of 60 embedded spheres, each containing certain amount of drug. At t=0, each of them has X moles of drug in it.

Now, when I let the simulation run and try to calculate the amount of drug in the sphere by doing a volume integration, it completely gives errorneous result. Isn't this how the "volume integration" function in post-processing supposed to work? If I integrate concentration (mol/m3) over a volume, I should get the amount of drug in moles. I tried to integrate over at time=0, and even that is 10^-5 order different!

Any suggestions/comments?

Does the union/assembly during making geometry affect this?

Thanks
