Recalculating solution only for point probe

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am using comsol to model heat transfer in solids, but I am mostly intrested in the solution at certain points. I know that I can use domain point probes for this purpose, but I was wondering whether it is possible to 'switch off' all other calculations (like the isothermal contours that are provided and the temperature distribution over the whole domain).
More specifically: when I construct my geometry, and I make small changes (location of point probe, material properties, etc.), I want to recalculate the solution only at this one point, without all the other stuff. This would be a major time saver if this would be possible.

Thanks in advance
