Space charge limited emission for positive Ions

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everybody.

Do you know, how can one model a space charge limited ion flux using the Particle Tracing Module? I mean, the example for Child Langmuir is clear, but I realized the useful 'Space charge limited emission' option for boundary it´s only defined for electrons and therefore my simulation didn´t not converge, when the particles are positive ions.

Have anyone recomendations how to implement something similar for positive ions, but using the available 'inlet' option for example (or another way)?

Thank you.
