New With COMSOL Software Need Help on CO2 Absorption of materials

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

For one of my PhD projects, I have to simulate the CO2 absorption with a CO2 absorbant polymer.

I am new to COMSOL and I do not know where to start. I have watched multiple tutorials, but none of them apply to what I want to do which is the following:

I want to test how much CO2 absorption our polymer can have. The polymer will be inside a closed environment where CO2 gas will be released. In order to measure the CO2 absoprtance, we are planning on using a flow meters.

Can anyone help me with this? Which module should I look into? I heard about special transport in porous media, but my polymer is not really that porous so I do not know if it applies.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you!
