Frequency Sweep and Parametric Sweep

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello All,

I am trying to run a parametric sweep under a frequency sweep study. Is it possible to run a parametric sweep along with a frequency sweep. When I try to do this, the program crashes. Can anyone guide me as to how to accomplish this?

Thanks,

Sankha

Hi

normally a Parametric Sweep comes before your frequency domain, if not you can run an Study extension auxiliary sweep (in v4.3, not sure for versions before), but then you must sort the results accordingly

Good luck

Hello COMSOLIANs,

Can anybody highlights Parametric sweep and Study extension usability and limitations. I have experienced that solution of study extension of any variable is much faster than the parametric sweep of the variable. I also realized that one can not change the mesh/geometry parameters using study extension.

With best,
Sohan
