Square wave AC source in AC/DC module for a transient simulation

It looks like there is only sine wave input available. One could use diodes to cut the
waveform to make it a square. But that seems to lead for difficulties to find a numerical solution
in simulations. In general I would need a pulse width modulated signal. How
this could be done in Multiphysics ? A good example would be the best advise. I'm still searching
a better documentation for the Spice import feature.

Hi

you can combine functions in v4.2a, and for certain you can add the "make periodic" such that a square pulse with rounded corners in aperiodic way is possible, worst case try to pass via an analytical function

Good luck
