Convective cooling expression

Hello:

In Heat Transfer module, what is the reference for expression for convective heat transfer coefficient for external natural convection and others, such as Rayleigh #?
COMSOL shows following expression for ht.h_cc

nojac(ht3.kExtFluid_cc2*(flc1hs(1000000000-ht3.Ra_cc2,100000000)*(0.68+0.67*ht3.Ra_cc2^0.25*cos(ht3.phi_tilt)/(1+(0.492*ht3.kExtFluid_cc2/(ht3.muExtFluid_cc2*ht3.CExtFluid_cc2))^0.5625)^0.4444444444444444)+flc1hs(-1000000000+ht3.Ra_cc2,100000000)*(0.825+0.387*ht3.Ra_cc2^(1/6)/(1+(0.492*ht3.kExtFluid_cc2/(ht3.muExtFluid_cc2*ht3.CExtFluid_cc2))^0.5625)^0.2962962962962963)^2)/3)

Thanks

You will find the equations used described in the manual in “Heat Transfer Module > Heat Transfer Theory > About the Heat Transfer Coefficients”. Most of the equations are from these two references:

1. F.P. Incropera and D.P. DeWitt, Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer
2. A. Bejan, Heat Transfer
