Exporting velocity and pressure results at node locations

Hi, all,

I am using COMSOL 4.2a to solve my single phase laminar flow problems. I import meshes from other mesh generators into comsol as mphtxt format and I would like to export nodal velocity and pressure results to do post processing. I noticed the node order of export data is different than the order of importing mesh. I have no idea of what it the node order in exported data.

Is there any suggestion about how to convert node order in export data same as the order in mesh?

Thanks a lot.

Hi

unfortunately FEM programmes do not have any "standard" exchange defintion so it's rather tricky to mix mesh from one, solving in a second and postprocess from a third code. One gets easily confusions and errors

Good luck
