Prestressed analysis

Hi,

Does anyone have the idea that whether prestressed analysis consider the deformation of the structure?

For example, I applied force on a structure, which will deform the structure and introduce a stress field. Then, I use prestressed analysis to get the eigenvalues of the structure. It is clear that the stress field introduced by the load is considered in prestressed analysis, but I am not sure whether the deformation of structure is considered or not. Or in other words, the prestressed analysis mode calculate the eigenvalues based on the original configuration or the deformed configuration.

From the plotted results, I did not see the deformation in prestressed analysis.

Thanks
Jun Yin
