Open Boundaries for Incompressible Flow Investigation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I've got an actuator design that induces a body force in my domain. The resultant fluid creates a vortex that gradually moves to the right side of the domain. However the vortex doesn't exit the right boundary as it should be. I've used open boundaries for all the boundaries of my domain. Instead, the fluid seems to be reflected back inside the simulation, creating an unphysical scenario.

I have a feeling I need to create some sort of a boundary coupling that checks the mass flow rate that flows out and inside the domain, but i'm unsure how to create this. Can anyone help me with this?

I've attached my file. Thanks
