problem of loading from material library using conductive media dc subdomain

I am using thermal-electrical model. When I try to load for example silicon for a subdomain, it seems the
selection from the material library does not effective, unless metal (coppor, gold...) has to be selected.

Is there a method that I can select a semiconductor from the library to assign for a subdomain?
