AC/DC coil simulation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, everyone

I made a coil for simulate the magnetic field due to the AC/DC current of coil.
I simulate the magnetic field with DC current. (Spiral_inductor_6) but I can't make it with AC current.
I tried 1[A]*sin(t[1/s]) at 'terminal 1' in 'spiral_inductor_6' but it doesn't work.

Can anybody help me?

Hi

consider the harmonic solvers (frequency domain solvers) for sinus response, its much much faster and efficient, you define amplitude, frequency and pahse (if required), frequency can also be defined as a scan range. Check the doc

Good luck
