I have recently installed the 4.0a version. all my programs are written in the 3.5a version. my question is can 4.0a read/open work with the programs written in the old version?

Hi

you can open a 3.5a file in V4 (the best would be to wait for the 4.1 as its translater is better) but you can always open it, however there are several issues to check, read through carefully the release notes (and update to the last v4.0a (993) patch you find on the web site
