When creating a model, one of the first steps you must complete is building the geometry, followed by building the mesh. Tune into this webinar to learn how to perform these steps in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software.

During this webinar, we will introduce you to geometry modeling concepts used to create solid and boundary objects. We will explain how 2D geometries can be converted to 3D geometries using work planes. We will discuss techniques involved in geometry creation to ensure a good mesh as well as share some recommended tips and best practices to use when building your own geometry. We will also show you how the solution time for your analysis can be optimized by techniques like the use of symmetry and handling singularities. Further, we will discuss the meshing options, settings, tools, and generators that are available in the COMSOL® software to create an optimal mesh for your geometry and analysis.

The webinar includes a live demo and will conclude with a Q&A session.
