measuring strain and capacitance at a time

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi

I am trying to measure the change in the capacitance with respect to the strain. I have designed a combed capacitor on the surface of the body and applying force on the body on one surface. this causes strain in the body and also the combed capacitance(change in the gap).

I am able to measure the capacitance of the combed structure and the strain of the body separately. I am struggling to merge or run them simultanoeuly where i can measure the capacitance as an when i am changing the force on the surface of the body(which eventaullay strain it.)

I am using electrostatics physics for measuring capacitance and solid mechanics for the strain.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
