Problem with 3D stationary Solver

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone,
I'm using Comsol 4.1 in order to simulate a 3D coupling between a gaussian beam (defined by port) and grating. I' have realized model using Stationary Solver, I have created port and finally defined mesh.

On the first time I clicked on Start button, but the answer was zero everywhere and "Number of degrees of freedom solved for: 0 " in LOG file.

I tried to investigate the problem, and I have found on this community that the reason could be an unselected box in "Solver1--> Dependent Variables -->Mod1_E --> "Solve for these field".
I changed the selection by modify the selection of Solver1---> Dependent Variable ---> "Define by study step: Step1: Stationary " in "define by study step: User defined" in order to select the box "solve for this field" in Mod1_E.

After that I solved again the problem with start button. The answer now is:

Failed to find a solution.
System matrix is zero.
Returned solution has not converged.

I think to have correctly defined port and mesh so I cannot understand which is the problem now.

Can anyone help me?

I have attached the file of my simulation without mesh (it is too big)...
