error at PZT Beam displacement with Stationary study

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I recently simulated a one-end-fixed PZT beam, which is composed of a pzt layer (800µm,200µm,1µm, upper) and a Si layer (800µm,200µm,5µm, beneath), to get its eigenfrequencies.

It worked and i chosed then the stationary study instead of the eigenfrequency study, in order to get a reasonable displacement, when voltage = 10V. But I get an error: failed to evaluate expression. Does any body know, what it means?

Following are the boundary conditions which i set:
piezoelectric material model: pzt-layer
linear elastic material model: Si-layer
ground: under boundary of the pzt-layer
electric potential: upper boundary of the pzt-layer (10 V)

as said, it worked for eigenfrequency study...

I'm thankful for any advice and discussion.

thanks a lot in advance
