Time dependent study for electromagnetic heat source coupling

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, I am working on magnetic braking related work.In this i need to do magnetic and Heat transfer analysis, therefore i have taken electromagnetic heat source coupling, done the stationary study, and got the results. But if i want transient conditions in this study, i have to do time dependent study. i am getting error during this analysis. To understand the situation i am attaching example file. please solve it and guide me to overcome this problem. Thanking you.

Hi Mahendra,

I would recommend you to go through these two examples on the EM Heating Problem to fully understand the work flow of this Multiphysics coupling.

  1. https://www.comsol.com/model/inductive-heating-of-copper-cylinder-148
  2. https://www.comsol.com/model/induction-heating-of-a-steel-billet-330

Best Regards, Nirmal
