Level set function value at inlets (MEMS module)

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, I have a question regarding the inlet node of the Mathematics->Moving Interface->Level Set mode from the MEMS module.

The only way to describe the inlet, is to set the level set the 'level set function value' (i.e. phi), typically to 0 or 1. There is no way to describe an inlet velocity as boundary condition, altough the level set method is solving for the level set function value and the velocity field.

Furthermore, I'm looking for an option to define Fluid 1 (phi=0) and Fluid 2 (phi=1, or vice versa) in this mode.

Obviously I'm missing something important regarding the settings of this level set method. Can anyone tell me what I have to do?

Best regards,
Christian
