Are the new Intel® Advanced Vector Extensions (Intel® AVX) used in COMSOL?

I have recently tested COMSOL on a new MacBookPro (8.2) with a 4-core-8-thread running SandyBridge OsX 10.6.7, with massive speed improvements.
Is COMSOL 4.0a (release 4.0.0.993) already using this new 256bit instruction set through its own or OsX BLAS libraries?
Is COMSOL using a Intel AVX powered version of PARDISO or GMRES?
if not, can COMSOL be forced to take advantage of AVX, for instance by specifying the -blas option and blaspath as specified in the Installation and operations guide?
