Keynote speakers
Bhaskar Patham, PhD, General Motors, India
Bhaskar Patham is a Researcher at the General Motors R&D, India Science Lab, Bangalore. His research interests are in the areas of experimental and analytical rheology, complex fluids, polymer and composites processing, and processing-structure-property interrelationships in multi-phase polymeric systems and polymeric matrix composites. His current research is focused on the investigation of the impact of composite microstructure on the development of meso-level residual stresses during thermoset cure, and the effect of flow-induced microstructure on the adhesive strength of physically joined thermoplastics.
Bhaskar Patham holds a Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science from Michigan State University (2004). Prior to joining GM R&D, he was a Research Engineer with the General Electric Global Research Center at Bangalore.
